Our family recently took a trip to Utah and we were able to catch the last day of the tulip festival. I wanted to go last year when we were in town, but we had just missed the time frame so I was really excited to go this year. At the entrance to the festival there was this free camera rental which is a very brilliant marketing idea, I must say. So I checked out the strongest macro lens they had available to play with. Oh man, it was so fun! I got a little carried away and took a million pictures of flowers. But I was just very in love what that lens and kept marveling at the detail I could capture.
Oop there’s some pictures of people. Finally.
His beautiful eyelashes KILL me!
… and then more flowers!
They had this fun little art station for kiddos. Mason enjoyed creating a masterpiece while I fed Kellen. My boys are such good sports to oblige me in my picture-taking obsession.
“It’s so BRIGHT out here Mom!”
”Where did my shoe go? I have no idea.”
It was such a fun, WARM day and it made me excited for all of the fun outdoorsy things we have planned for the summer.
